How will the new expenditure plan be developed?2025-04-11T13:21:33-07:00

The development of the Measure C Renewal Expenditure Plan will be an inclusive, community-driven process. THe plan will determine how Measure C tax funds will be used. To ensure the plan reflects the needs of Fresno County residents, the Expenditure Plan will be shaped by feedback gathered through various engagement opportunities. A Steering Committee, composed of representatives from each city, the county, and at-large members from business, environmental, cycling and other sectors, will meet from April to November 2025 to draft the plan. They will review input from local agencies, data on past Measure C impacts, and insights from community workshops. Between May and October 2025, workshops will be held across the county to gather direct input from residents, while local non-profits and community-based organizations will be offered mini-grants to help educate and engage the public. In 2026, the Steering Committee will begin drafting the plan and the community will have additional chances to review and provide feedback before finalizing the plan.
